Tapioca pearls or boba are chewy and gummy beads of tapioca that can be added to any drink to enhance its flavor.

Tapioca is a starch extracted from Cassava plant which makes the pearls naturally gluten-free. We cook our tapioca fresh every day and it takes close to 60 minutes to prepare just one batch of tapioca. Stop by our location and take them for a test drive! We provide samples.

We're now proudly serving the newest add-on available: popping boba! It's the newest phenomenon in the bubble tea world, complimentary to our fruit flavored teas. These juicy, fruit-filling bubbles burst in your mouth with every sip. The outer shells are made with seaweed extract. Check out our menu to see which popping boba flavors we are serving.

What is bubble tea?

Bubble tea is a fun and delicious drink that originated from Taiwan in the 1980's and spread to other east Asian countries before reaching the U.S.

Bubble tea is also known as boba tea or pearl tea because it can be served with or without tapioca pearls. Using an oversize "fat" straw, you can suck up these pearls with your drink. It is frequently mistaken that bubble tea refers to the tapioca pearls, but in fact, it's the foam that forms on top of the drink after being shaken in a cocktail shaker.

What options do we have for people with dietary restrictions?
We offer many options at Boba To Go. You may be surprised to learn that the classic recipe for milk tea uses non-dairy creamer, not milk! Many of our drinks are non-dairy and perfect for our lactose intolerant and vegan customers. Please let us know about your dietary restrictions before your order and we'll do our best to accommodate you!
